Job Overview
Overcash Grading Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to join our team in Concord, NC . This full time, day shift position involves diagnosing, repairs, and maintaining a fleet consisting primarily of Mack Dump Trucks and Komatsu construction equipment. the ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills and experience with both on road and off road diesel equipment.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Mack Dump Trucks (class 7-8)
Service and Repair Komatsu Construction Equipment
Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, driveline, braking, and hydraulic systems
Perform preventive maintenance and DOT Inspections
Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop
Communicate repair needs and timeline with management
Qualifications
3 years of heavy - duty diesel technician experience preferred
Experience with dump trucks, Mack trucks, and /or Komatsu equipment strongly preferred
Strong mechanical , electrical, and diagnostic skills
Ability to read schematics and service manuals
Valid Drivers (CDL IS A PLUS)
MUST SUPPLY OWN TOOLS
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a shop environment
Preferred (Not Required)
ASE diesel certifications
DOT inspection Certification
Mack /Volvo OEM training
Komatsu construction equipment experience
Experience with MP engines, mDRIVE transmission, and hydraulic dump systems
