The Overaa Talent Acquisition Partner is a key member of the Human Resources team and plays an instrumental role in supporting company growth by building strong talent pipelines across the organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Partner partners with HR and senior leadership to develop and execute talent acquisition and workforce strategies aligned with Overaa’s long-term objectives.
This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for non-union field roles, project management, and corporate roles, while also leading Overaa’s college recruiting and internship programs to develop early-career talent. The Talent Acquisition Partner will additionally support broader HR initiatives and larger projects as needed, ensuring alignment between recruiting strategy and overall workforce planning.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across office, and professional construction roles, building and maintaining proactive talent pipelines.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and workforce planning needs.
- Screen, evaluate, and coordinate candidates through interviews and offer processes, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
- Manage applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously improve processes.
- Lead Overaa’s college recruiting and internship programs, building relationships with universities, trade schools, and faculty partners.
- Represent Overaa at job fairs, networking events, and industry recruiting events; partner with external recruiters for specialized or hard-to-fill roles as needed.
- Support broader HR initiatives and larger projects that strengthen workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.

- Performs recruiting duties with an appropriate sense of urgency to support project schedules and workforce demands.
- Acts as a company representative to candidates, universities, industry partners, and external recruiting partners.
- Maintains strict adherence to Company processes and procedures.
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience within the construction industry.
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades, field operations, and construction management roles.
- Experience running college recruiting programs and managing internship programs.
- Strong understanding of construction terminology and job site environments.
- Organized with a systematic approach to achieve high level results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
