Job Description:
Over the Top Services and Care is seeking a compassionate and attentive Direct Support Professional to provide medical respite care for a female client in the St. Johns County area.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, observant, and experienced with individuals who require closer medical monitoring while still engaging in light daily activities.
Client Needs Include:
- Supervision and companionship in the home
- Assistance with light activities (toys, organization, short walks, etc.)
- Monitoring and support for seizure activity
- Assistance with feeding tube (G-tube) care (basic familiarity preferred)
Important:
Candidate should have experience with seizures and be familiar with a Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) or similar device.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance and registration
- Must pass Level 2 background screening and local background screening
- Experience with medical needs preferred
