Job Overview
As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young minds in a supportive and engaging environment. You will create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and grow. What you’ll do
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood development standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth.
- Assess and document children’s progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s learning at home.
- Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe and orderly learning space.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Implement behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among students.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development.
Basic qualifications
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is required.
Requirements:
- First aid/CPR certification is required within 30 days.
- Must be 18 years old and have a dependable ride.
- Must register for Family Care Safety registry and complete a fingerprint background check before employment eligibility.
- Complete required trainings throughout the year. (12 hours total)
