About the Role

The Technical Designer, Men’s Apparel is responsible for translating creative designs into clear, actionable technical specifications to ensure garments are produced with consistent fit, quality, and construction. This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can manage multiple priorities while supporting evolving business needs across categories.

How You’ll Contribute

· Create detailed technical specification packages and review samples for fit, pattern accuracy, and construction quality.

· Lead and participate in live model fittings, evaluating garments for balance, proportion, and quality, and provide clear feedback to resolve fit or construction issues.

· Review pre-production and production samples to ensure consistency with design intent and quality standards.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all technical details are properly executed and production-ready.

· Communicate daily with overseas factories to clarify specifications, review comments, and resolve production or fit-related questions.

· Maintain organized documentation of all technical specifications, revisions, and fit comments for accuracy and consistency.

· Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other cross-functional work as needed to meet seasonal deadlines and business goals.

· Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple categories and priorities with attention to detail and strong follow-through.

What You Bring to the Team

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer in apparel (wholesale or vertical brand environment preferred).

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, and CAD systems.

· Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit standards.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

· Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and overseas factories.

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

· Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
