Job Title: Data Center Hand & Feet
Band: E 2.1
Managing Data Center and provide onsite support to DC Admins for Priority and maintenance issues
- Assign switch ports to specific VLANs
- Patch phone ports to switch as needed
- Perform packet traffic analysis for troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches
- Troubleshoot and replace chassis blades when required
- Understanding of DCIM Application Management (Struxureware)
- A periodic (minimum twice weekly) visual check of the IDF rooms for cooling and power status (specifically UPS alarms and PDU health)
- Control-M, Netbackup, Tivoli Work Scheduler
- HP OVO, Netcool, MOM
- Batch monitoring and Job scheduling
- Server Performance monitoring
- Networking and Operating System basics

- Assist Biogen Network admins as required
- A periodic (minimum twice weekly) visual check of the IDF rooms for cooling and power status (specifically UPS alarms and PDU health)
- Knowledge of HP-Open View as Monitoring Tool
- Basic knowledge of problem management tools like Remedy
- Basic knowledge TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) as Backup tool
- Basic knowledge about Hardware like Servers, Storage devices
- Basic knowledge of Operating Systems- Windows 2003 servers Enterprise/Standard Edition.
- Basic knowledge about Windows 2003 Active Directory structure, MS Exchange 2003 and File/Print Server
- Experience in SLA base environment
- Experience in jobs scheduling and backup management.
Candidate should have minimum 3-5 year experience in above mentioned area.
