Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls for hospice patients during on-call shifts.
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical assessments, including symptom management, pain relief, and end-of-life care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on comfort measures, medications, and end-of-life care procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all interactions and care provided.
- Adhere to all hospice care policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah.
- Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, including experience in managing symptoms such as pain, nausea, and anxiety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate, empathetic care to patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
