Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while managing serving times effectively through strong time management skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold all food handling regulations and safety protocols to guarantee a safe experience for both guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, beverage preparation techniques including brewing, and food safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with retail math, basic math skills, cash handling, and cashiering are essential for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations is required.
