What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Stocker position at Outwest Drywall Supply?
The primary functions of the Laborer/Stocker is to assist the driver in all aspects, including but not limited to: preparing loads, unloading the truck, stocking materials into jobsites, spotting the driver, assisting in chaining tires, navigating to job sites.
Pay includes hourly rate plus incentive for efficient stocking.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials, such as drywall materials and joint compound.
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.
- Constantly, moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job site.
- Constantly, positions self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
- Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.
- Constantly working in an outside environment while making deliveries.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
