Duties

• Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system(s) such to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and hygienic at all times.
• Assist in food handling tasks including stocking supplies, managing food prep stations, and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed.
• Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality.
• Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS is a plus; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude; ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
