What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Rep - South Florida position at Outsourced Scale?
What You'll Do
- Build a physical, face-to-face presence across South Florida, visiting independent marine repair shops and mechanics to introduce the company and its diagnostic tools.
- Run relationship-first outreach, initial visits focus on introductions (including branded gift items) rather than hard selling, opening the door to a follow-up conversation.
- Demo diagnostic kits on-site, including pulling codes and showing repair/software features, and close sales directly through the company website on a tablet or the customer's device.
- Manage a pipeline of outbound and inbound leads using Go High Level (CRM) and the company's internal AI outreach tool for calls, emails, and scripts.
- Represent the company at regional marine industry association events and trade gatherings.
- Complete company training on products, sales process, and CRM before working the territory independently.
What Success Looks Like
A high-performing rep in this role could reach the equivalent of approximately 300 unit sales annually, noting that many shops purchase multiple units at once.
What You'll Sell
- Diagnostic tool kits
- Three-year, all-in-one financing packages that bundle hardware, licensing, and U.S.-based tech support, typically $1–$500 down with automatic monthly billing.
- Commission: 10%
What We're Looking For
- Prior sales experience is required, the company does not currently have the internal capacity to train someone with no sales background.
- Experience or an existing network in the marine industry is a strong plus, given how relationship-driven and, at times, guarded the industry can be. Direct marine or boat/engine sales experience is ideal.
- Comparable outside-sales backgrounds are also a strong fit, examples include tool truck/mobile tool sales (e.g., Snap-on), diesel or automotive diagnostic tool sales, medical sales, food service/route sales, or other door-to-door or territory-based sales roles.
- Comfortable with high travel (50–75%) and a self-directed, road-based schedule.
- Motivated by an early-stage, team-oriented environment rather than a large-corporate structure.
- Must be able to pass a background check; the company reserves the right to require drug testing.
Tools & Tech Stack
Go High Level (primary CRM and operations hub), Shopify (e-commerce/checkout), and an internal, company-built AI tool for outreach scripts and sales support. Full training is provided before a rep is expected to work independently.
