What are the responsibilities and job description for the PreConstruction Coordinator position at Outside The Box?
Outside The Box, LLC is seeking a PreConstruction Coordinator. This position will report directly to the PreConstruction Manager. The PreConstruction Coordinator will administratively support the PreConstruction team by monitoring the workflow of project proposals, bid procurement, maintaining proposal and vendor/subcontractor information within our internal project management platform.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set up new jobs in RedTeam and Proposal Folders upon direction from PreConstruction Lead.
- Updating RedTeam information during solicitation through award.
- Produce and maintain solicitation schedules via calendar invites and amendment updates.
- Maintain organized files of proposal folders.
- Maintaining bid lists in Red Team, keeping all addenda and dates accurate.
- Assist in setting up pre-bid site visits and security paperwork.
- Issue RFQs to subcontractors to bid and follow up to ensure/track subcontractors’ intent to bid, enter in RedTeam and maintain accurate sub bidders list.
- Receive subcontractor/vendor bids- upload record in RedTeam and save to Proposal folders.
- Attending pre-construction job site meetings.
- Performing other duties, analysis and projects as assigned.
- Must be versatile, highly organized and be able to multi-task as well as be a self-starter.
- Must also be a team player and take a pro-active approach to daily tasks.
- Good presentation and communication skills dealing with clients, vendors and teammates.
- Ensures all subcontractors are RedTeam Team Player complainant.
- Ability to develop and train subcontractors on RedTeam Team Player.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
General Requirements:
- Strong administrative background.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, Experience with RedTeam and/or ProCore a plus.
- Prior federal experience is a plus.
- High school diploma is required. Previous work experience in construction is a plus.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in communication, construction and/or a sales environment.
- Must be a good communicator both written and verbal.
- Must have demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills, ability to interface effectively with the owner and/or client.
- Must have great attention to detail, team player and possess solid communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Must be a “Team” player and be willing to do what is necessary to ensure the project is successful.
- Candidates must have a valid U.S. Driver License and a clean driving record. All final candidates will be subject to a Drug Screen, Motor Vehicle Report, and a Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.
