We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Associate who enjoys working with people, has a passion for home furnishings, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Position Summary:

As a Furniture Sales Associate, you will assist customers throughout the entire sales process, from greeting and discovering their needs to recommending products, closing sales, and providing excellent follow-up service. You will also help maintain an attractive showroom and contribute to achieving store sales goals.

Responsibilities:

· Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.

· Build relationships with customers by understanding their design style, needs, and budget.

· Recommend furniture, décor, and accessories that best fit each customer’s space.

· Demonstrate product knowledge, features, materials, construction, and customization options.

· Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.

· Process sales accurately using the store’s point-of-sale system.

· Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and satisfaction.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.

· Assist with merchandising, pricing, inventory counts, receiving shipments, and stocking merchandise.

· Stay current on new collections, industry trends, and product knowledge.

· Work collaboratively with management and fellow team members to ensure exceptional customer service.

· Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· * Minimum 2 years of furniture sales experience or luxury/high-end retail sales experience. [PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS REQUIREMENT]

· Strong closing and customer service skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Professional appearance and positive attitude.

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable using computers, POS systems, email, and basic software.

· Ability to lift, push, pull, or move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

· Availability to work weekends and holidays.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

· Experience in furniture, interior design, home décor, or design consulting.

· Knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
