Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently while handling cash or credit card payments securely.
• Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills, ensuring prompt service during busy hours.
• Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions when needed, supporting food handling and serving duties in various settings including nightclubs or fine dining environments.
• Uphold all food safety protocols, including proper food handling practices, to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or banquet halls.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Experience in food service roles within fine dining, catering, or retail environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
• Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for serving alcohol responsibly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in hospitality settings that may include brewing environments or retail spaces.
