Outreach is hiring a Part-time Program Assistant at Outreach Warrenville to support students in our after-school program academically and in life skills and support the wider program administratively.
On average, 15-20 hours a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Working hours are 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm on school days and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on non-school days. Hours vary during school breaks and holiday weeks. Some evening or weekend hours are required for special events and other program needs. Additional hours may also be available.

Responsibilities
- The Part-time Program Assistant will support the Executive Director and staff at the Warrenville location.
- The Part-time Program Assistant will provide front desk coverage.
- The Part-time Program Assistant is responsible for supporting core community center events through tasks like set up, document distribution, refreshments, and clean up.
- The Part-time Program Assistant will serve as a support to the youth services team, including assisting on college and career visits (and other field trips) and participating in youth program activities (primarily for the middle school and high schoolers).
- The Part-time Program Assistant also assists with the completion of the annual community assessment.
- The Part-time Program Assistant supports Youth Program activities as needed (helping to purchase supplies, researching potential activities) and assist Case Manager with community events and outreach activities.
- BA/BS in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications or a related field preferred.
- A relational and flexible work style and professional presence.
- Sensitivity to the needs of a low-income and diverse population.
- Strong communication and administrative skills and familiarity with small office procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Internet research skills with research, data management, editing and project management ability.
