Job Title: Qualified Mental Health Professional
As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and effective mental health care to individuals and families. You will engage with clients through various therapeutic modalities, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster growth and healing.
What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute tailored treatment plans.
- Offer specialized counseling for children, families, and individuals facing developmental disabilities or trauma.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper ICD coding for diagnoses.
- Facilitate telehealth sessions to expand access to care for clients in various settings.
- Engage in clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.
Basic qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Professional in your state of practice.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with crisis management and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology and its application in treatment planning.
- Background in working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with autism or other disabilities.
- Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities such as art therapy, dance therapy, or psychodynamic therapy.
