What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Caregiver: Wichita Falls position at Outreach Health?
As a Special Caregiver for Outreach Health, you are responsible for helping clients that are disabled or elderly by serving as a back-up Caregiver in instances where the permanent caregiver is unable to provide services to the client(s). To ensure the client is properly cared for, you will understand and perform basic safety techniques. What You'll Do:
- Build relationships – Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
- Help around the home – Light housekeeping, meal prep, and grocery shopping.
- Support personal care – Assist with bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Ensure well-being – Medication reminders and safety monitoring.

What You Need to Apply:
- Must have a minimum of 6 months working experience as a caregiver, or enrolled in a vocational education program, and/or be a certified Nursing Assistant
- Must pass a criminal background screening
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be flexible to service several different clients a day
- Must be able to work with limited supervision and on weekends and holidays
- Must comply with applicable healthcare laws and statues (local, state, and/or federal); e.g., protect patient’s privacy
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and own a legally registered vehicle that holds the minimum liability insurance coverage.
- Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
