JOB TITLEHR GeneralistDEPARTMENTHRSupervisory StatusNoReports toHR DirectorJob Summary:Perform tasks throughout all areas of the department in support of a business’ human capital and employment initiatives by supporting HR DirectorMain Responsibilities: HRIS Management· Organize and maintain all HR files and records in electronic and paper form.· Verify employee attendance, pay adjustments, and post information on designated records.· Update and record employee information such as current employee life changes, onboarding, transfers, and resignations Recruitment & Talent Acquisition· Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and setting up interviews.· Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions.· Conduct new hire background checks and prepare onboarding documents.· Perform other administrative duties for recruitment as requested. Employee Development· Coordinate and execute employee training courses by setting timetables, researching and developing training material and participating in training delivery. Employee Relations· Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and/or concerns.· Understand and provide clarification of company policies and procedures to employees.· Promote a positive workplace environment by addressing employee needs and fostering open communication. Performance Management· Support the performance management process, including 90days probationary assessment, annual performance reviews, and development plans.· Monitor the performance evaluation program and apply revisions, as necessary.· Provide guidance to managers on effective feedback. Policy Development & Compliance· Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.· Research, report & update policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.· Support OSHA related duties.· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices. Compensation and Benefits· Perform benefits administration, including open enrollment, workers compensation claims and unemployment claims, and communicating benefits information to employees.· Review invoices for payment. Visa Sponsorship· Track, coordinate, and prepare all materials necessary for employee visa sponsorships. Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability: · Strong knowledge of HR practices and government compliance regulations· Effective oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills· Bilingual in Korean (preferred)· Excellent organizational skills· Critical thinking and problem solving skill· Solid knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office and HRIS (UKG Ready) preferred· Strong ability to maintain high level of confidentiality· Ability to work independently and in a team environment, multitask and follow company proceduresRequired Experience4 years’ experience in Human ResourcesEducationBachelor’s degree or SHRM-CP (Certified Professional)Responsibility Level(High, Medium, Low,None)SupervisionLowDiscretionMedComplexityMedImpactMedAccountabilityHighWork ConditionsOffice, with regular work hour
