What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Technologist position at Outpatient Imaging Center?
As a Mammography Technologist you will responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. You will respond to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding personal health information, including but not limited to, patient diagnosis, health history, demographics, and referral information.
- Produces diagnostic images in assigned area and performs quality control tasks as assigned
- Screens patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination
- Performs mammography examinations according to a high quality standard in order to service the patient and referring physician
