What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (1 year experience required) position at Outpatient Cytopathology Center?
Outpatient Cytopathology Center is looking to hire a medical assistant. The position is on-site in a busy friendly independent medical office. Basic EHR software knowledge is expected. The job responsibilities include but is not limited to: rooming patients, initial patient medical history, appointment scheduling, assisting physicians in procedures, specimen send outs, basic laboratory duties, scanning, filing, cleaning, and stocking exam rooms. Attention to detail is needed. There will be interaction with the patients, physicians, practice manager, and other employees.
