Outova, headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth (Texas), Texas Market, is seeking a talented Accountant to join the team.
Position Overview:
The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
· Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
· Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
· Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
· Support payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of payroll entries.
· Prepare and file tax returns, sales tax reports, and other regulatory filings as required.
· Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
· Identify process improvements to increase efficiency in financial operations.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably QuickBooks)
· HRIS system experience (preferably UKG)
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Basic knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.

Physical Activities:
Daily activity includes but is not limited to:
· Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.

· Be able to regularly lift/move up to 30lbs.
· Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
