What You'll Need:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license - Missouri (required)
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) - Missouri (preferred or willingness to train)
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- Compassion, reliability, and great communication skills
- Administer daily medications per physician orders and MAR
- Accurately document medication administration and resident response
- Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff or physician
- Assist residents with daily living activities: hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and comfort care
- Support meal service, snacks, and hydration per policy
- Check residents regularly and promptly respond to call lights
- Prepare and restock medication supplies and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate with med techs, aides, and nursing staff for quality care continuity
- Assist nurses during examinations and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing
