Duties

- Use classroom management strategies to maintain a structured yet flexible setting conducive to active learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Incorporate curriculum development principles to tailor activities that support early childhood education standards and individual child needs.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child observations and incidents.
- Foster inclusive practices by integrating special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction.
- Promote physical education activities that enhance motor skills and overall health in young children.
- Maintain current certifications such as first aid and CPR to ensure safety in all classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, behavior management, and curriculum design.
- Experience with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons aligned with educational standards for young children.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated classroom experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children.
