Locally owned Outer Banks Olive Oil Company is seeking a full time, year round Store Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and driven to achieve the overall company goals. We are looking for an experienced, sales minded, person and can begin training immediately. Paid time off and 401K/IRA company matching.
- $18-$22 per hour including tips and performance bonuses
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing employees, organizing and supervising all the daily activities
- Being a team player and supportive of management to create a positive work enviroment for all staff.
- Overseeing the inventory of the store and accordingly placing replenishment orders.
- Supervise and participate in the coaching of sales personnel to provide maximum sales and customer service excellence
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to the employees of the store.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and standards
- Implementing marketing and other promotional plans
- Maintaining the stores clean and attractive environment
- Supervise merchandising in a creative and attractive way
Requirements-
-Knowledge, experience in the retail industry
-A passion for gourmet foods, wine, craft beer, cheeses, cigars and olive oils
-Strong selling, customer service and management experience desired.
-Enjoys working with customers, is sales directed and committed to excellent customer service
-Successful track record of setting and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives
-Excellent communication skills-verbal & written, problem solving, motivating and delegating skills.
-Mindful and wanting to create a positive work environment.
-Work schedule will include evenings, weekends & holidays. Must be flexible.
-Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
