Summary

Reporting to the Cutting/Silkscreen Supervisor, this position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with the main focus of reducing all down time and set up time of each press.

Essential Functions

• Promote teamwork amongst employees including the support of company policies, training, and development of employees for the growth of the company.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Interfaces with the preplan team to discuss daily requirements to meet hourly/daily quotas.
• Work with the screen maker to ensure all screen requirements are met for the hourly/daily quotas.
• Complete all necessary setup requirements with supervisor.
• Forecast any potential problems before the first production run and continuously improve repeated production runs.
• Monitor the quality of product and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist the supervisor in keeping all presses operational by scraping or adding ink and gluing if necessary.
• Fill in as needed in other areas when absences occur.

• Inspects input/output quality requirements on all units processed.
• Follows approved procedures to complete all tasks.
• Maintains work area in a clean, repaired and organized manner.
• Handles and stores all regulated materials in compliance with company policy, state and
• federal regulations.
• Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Education & Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Some technical screen-printing experience required.
• 1 – 2 years manufacturing experience a must.
