Job Purpose:
- The Kitting Assembler at Commercial Sewing Inc is responsible for efficiently assembling kits of components and materials required for the production process. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble kits by accurately selecting and organizing components and materials according to specified instructions and production schedules.
- Verify the quality and quantity of components and materials before assembly to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of assembled kits, including quantities, part numbers, and any discrepancies encountered during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with the inventory and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and components needed for kitting.
- Conduct regular inspections of assembled kits to identify and address any defects or issues before they reach the production line.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the kitting process.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new procedures, equipment, and company goals.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitting processes and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience with using hand tools and assembly equipment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembling components.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and assembly instructions.
