Job Overview
The Landscape Manager role entails managing numerous landscape installs at a time. We work for various production home builders along with commercial and private jobs. This position requires scheduling jobs, sending out material and checking on job sites.
Duties
- Assign new jobs to landscape install crews
- Order material needed for future jobs
- Maintain material inventory based on schedule
- Coordinate with Assistant Landscape Manager and material movers to complete tasks
- Quality Control job sites after install
- Communicate with Construction Managers
- Check on Job sites before install
- Communicate with scheduling department to maintain an up to date schedule
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise team members.
- Experience with irrigation systems and their installation.
- Familiarity with garden design principles and plant care requirements.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with landscaping work, including lifting and operating machinery.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
