The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and governmental accounting regulations where applicable.
- Handle payroll processing and related tax filings with precision.
- Assist with budgeting processes and provide support for technical accounting tasks.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all bookkeeping activities for audit purposes.
- Support month-end closing procedures and assist in year-end audits as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably with experience in corporate.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and other financial management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Familiarity with financial concepts including account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent understanding of debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as 10 key typing and detailed account analysis simultaneously.
- Experience with tax preparation or tax experience is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external auditors when necessary. - 5 years of demonstrated ability to provide detailed level multi company Accounting support – accounts payable, accounts receivable and closing books on a monthly basis.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
Willingness to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)
- Advanced level Quickbooks online user
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
