Responsibilities
- Safely operate pickup trucks and other vehicles for route driving and deliveries
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Ensure accurate loading of goods according to delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Deliver products to clients in a professional, courteous manner while providing excellent customer service
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route planning tools to meet delivery deadlines
- Assist with warehouse duties including inventory management, moving stock, and maintaining cleanliness
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred, especially with route driving in urban or suburban areas
- Warehouse experience including load & unload operations is advantageous
- Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record is required - Experience operating pickup trucks and backing up utility trailers is highly desirable
