Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting outdoor equipment, parts, accessories, and related products through quality advice and product knowledge
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit card payments, and financing procedures with professionalism
- Provide support by understanding maintenance needs, and general repair procedures to recommend suitable parts or services
- Maintain excellent communication skills to effectively negotiate with customers ensuring satisfaction and optimal sales outcomes
- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers, new products, or services to enhance retail sales and customer engagement
- Help maintain a clean retail environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales with outdoor equipment, automotive or parts store environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills with experience in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with dealership operations including sales management, retail math, and financing
- Proficiency in computer applications for data tracking and reporting purposes
- Ability to handle cashiering duties accurately while maintaining phone etiquette during customer interactions
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to build lasting relationships
- Self starter, motivated to improve the business as a whole
