SUMMARY

An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives installer will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential and commercial settings - we design and install AWESOMENESS! (see our work @ www.outdoorlights.com/sw-michigan) Strong work ethic, customer service mentality, and reliability are the most important qualifications. Interest or experience with electrical work desired, but - we will train the right candidate! We are a locally owned business experiencing rapid growth! Seeking candidates interested in the possibility of career advancement/crew management. Part time 24-40 hrs a week, could occasionally exceed 40 hours in busy times

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with a shovel
• Occasional ladder work, you MUST be comfortable with heights
• Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
• Speaking with clients in a polite, professional manner
• Provide client with system orientation/operation as applicable
• Proper care, operation and cleaning of company vehicles & tools
• Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
• Wiring and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
• Installing transformers and connecting wire runs
• Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
• Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
• Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
• Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable meeting new people
• Enjoys interacting with clients with respect and integrity
• Above-average technical ability / aptitude
• Attention to detail and respect for our client's property
• Systematic in their approach
• Proactive, problem solver
• Strong sense of pride and integrity in work product
• Enjoys working outside, in all weather, and having fun!

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ideal candidate should have basic computer experience.
• Will train the right candidate.
