Crew Leader, Landscape

In this energetic role, you will oversee landscape maintenance, hardscaping projects, and groundskeeping tasks, & commercial snow removal, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership will foster a collaborative team atmosphere while managing daily operations, safety protocols, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, pruning, planting, and groundskeeping.
• Lead hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features from planning through completion.
• Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure healthy landscapes and water efficiency.
• Oversee crew operations by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training on grounds maintenance equipment operation, and ensuring safety compliance.
• Identify plants accurately to guide planting and pruning decisions while promoting healthy growth and landscape aesthetics.
• Operate company vehicles and landscaping equipment responsibly to execute various outdoor projects effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, safety inspections, and client communications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscaping construction projects, or groundskeeping with a focus on outdoor work environments.
• Demonstrated supervising or team management experience with the ability to lead a crew efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, irrigation management, and general grounds maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape machinery.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and adhere to all safety protocols during outdoor work activities.
• Construction experience is preferred for managing hardscape installations or related projects.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
