Job Description
We are looking for Fleet Mechanic who loves dogs to join our team. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of trucks and equipment, as well as helping install and service winter snow equipment for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of trucks and equipment, with preference given to experience with Ford, Western, Exmark, John Deere and Caterpillar brands. We are looking for someone who is a motivated, self-starter, willing to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate prefers variety in their work and is able to change directions to fit the immediate needs of the company and help others around the shop when needed. This is a full-time position with Company paid Health, Medical and Vision insurance for the Employee.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect. troubleshoot, repair and completes PM on all in-house equipment, including but not limited to trucks, mowers, tractors, snow plows and salt spreaders
- Complete installation and repair of plows and spreaders on customer vehicles
- Complete paperwork, tracking of repairs and parts inventory
- Computer knowledge and experience required
- Ensures work area is clean and organized per company standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
