This is a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) position in a children's group home serving four male individuals ranging from young teens to early adulthood with developmental disabilities. We are seeking motivated, dependable, and compassionate staff who are committed to actively engaging residents in meaningful activities while ensuring their daily living, health, and safety needs are met.
Our home serves individuals with complex behavioral needs. Staff should be prepared to work in a high-behavior environment where challenging behaviors may occur. These behaviors can include physical aggression toward staff and peers, such as biting, hitting, slapping, kicking, scratching, and property destruction, as well as verbal aggression, intimidation, threats, and name-calling. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided; however, applicants should be comfortable working in a setting that requires patience, consistency, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm during crisis situations.
Experience working with adolescents or young adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral interventions is strongly preferred. Individuals with a background in behavior management, crisis intervention, or similar fields are encouraged to apply.
We are currently seeking:
Full - Time: Monday thru Friday Every Other Weekend
Weekday evenings 2pm to 10pm and 3pm to 10pm - Every other weekend 12 to 14 hour shifts. Between the hours of 8am to 10pm Saturday and Sunday.

Have High School Diploma or GED
Be able to fluently speak, read and write the English language (our clients have language barriers, so this is important)
Have a **valid Driver's License**, reliable transportation to and from work, and proof of insurance
Be able to pass a DHS Background Study
