Outback Landscape is looking for hardworking, reliable Equipment Operators who want to take their skills to the next level. From swimming pool excavation and large-scale installs to tree planting and winter snow operations, this is a full-time, year-round position with opportunities to grow.
What You’ll Do
• Operate equipment including Cat 914, 910, 908, and 906 loaders; Cat 304, 305, and 306 excavators with tilt rotors; mini skid steers; and forklifts
• Perform swimming pool excavation, tree planting, grading, trenching, backfilling, and compaction
• Support site preparation for concrete and paver base installs
• Assist with large-scale HDPE and water line installations
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Run Metal Pless snow plows during the winter season
• Conduct basic equipment inspections, maintenance, and daily checks
• Follow safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized job site
• Work closely with your crew to complete projects with quality and precision
What You Need
• 1–2 years of equipment operation experience preferred (loaders, excavators, mini skids, or similar)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)
• Ability to read grades, follow site plans, and work under crew leader direction
• Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and support manual labor when equipment is not in use
• Bonus if you have experience in irrigation, snow removal, or utility installation
