Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framer/Carpenter to join our team. As a Skilled worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to custom homes construction, and general carpentry. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in custom home framing, doors/window installation, and siding.
Requirements:
- Must be able to tolerate very hot or cold working conditions.
-Must have your own reliable transportation to office location.
-Must be able to pick up a minimum of 80lbs.
-Cannot be scared of heights.
-Must have 5 years of general framing construction experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform building erection and construction tasks according to project supervisors specifications
- Utilize schematics and blueprints to guide the construction process
- Install wood stud framing for walls and partitions
- Construct roofs using appropriate materials and techniques
- Execute sheeting and carpentry tasks to ensure a polished finish
- Assist with framing, sheeting and other structural elements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in framing, carpentry and siding
- Strong knowledge of framing rules, angles and joinery
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately
- Experience in sheeting and carpentry for a professional finish
- Skilled in frame carpentry for structural integrity
- Knowledge of different types of siding & window installation
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday (10 hour days)
Some Fridays or Saturdays depending on weather.
