We're seeking a hands-on Job Architecture Consultant to design and implement a company-wide job architecture and prepare it for HRIS deployment. You'll own the build, while also advising on best practices, risks, and trade-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a job family and level framework (families, sub-families, 6-8 levels) with clear scope/complexity/impact definitions
- Build a job catalog with standardized titles, concise job summaries, qualifications, and core competencies
- Lead incumbent mapping waves; design and manage an exceptions process; partner with Comp/HR to QA results
- Create HRIS-ready deliverables: job codes, attributes (family/level), data dictionary, and reporting fields (EEO, FLSA, etc.)
- Develop enablement materials: manager toolkits, recruiter guides, and career path visuals
- Advise on leveling philosophy, title rationalization, internal equity, and data quality controls
Qualifications
- 7 years in compensation, job architecture, or related HR specialty
- Prior experience designing job families and levels across multiple functions
- Strong Excel/Sheets and HRIS familiarity (Workday, SAP, UKG, or similar)
- Data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning complex spreadsheets and documentation
- Collaborative, with the ability to partner closely with compensation, HRIS, and HR stakeholders
