Service Advisor Automotive

Ourisman Chevrolet of Baltimore has an immediate opening for an Assistant Service Manager/Service Advisor. We are looking for individuals with 3 years experience in a high volume service department and proven track records of excellent Customer Service (CSI). Reynolds systems experience is preferred but not required. This is an opportunity to join the area's BEST automotive company. Let us help you build yours!Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities and DutiesGreet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain informationServe as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customerPrepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; entering RO into service database system.Provide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated cost, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plusAutomotive Service Advisor Qualifications and SkillsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 4 years automotive service department experienceFluent English--Bilingual a plusDocumentation of past performanceAutomotive Knowledge requiredQuality Focus, Productivity, and Problem SolvingStrong Teamwork and Communication SkillsOut-going personality with experience at developing relationshipsCan work in a fast-pace environment, are organized, and can manage time efficientlyMust have valid driver's licenseOurisman Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer operating a drug free work environment.Company DescriptionOurisman Chevrolet of Baltimore
