QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AUTOMOTIVE PAINTING
What you’ll do
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and ensure even coverage for a flawless finish.
- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal and surface restoration to maintain vehicle integrity.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to execute repairs and enhancements.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to identify additional repair needs and ensure overall vehicle performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their vehicle’s needs and progress.
- Estimate costs for repairs and painting services accurately to assist in customer decision-making.
- Safely lift heavy materials and equipment as needed during the painting and repair processes.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in auto body repair, painting, or related fields is essential.
Preferred qualifications
- Dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient in detailing vehicles to enhance their appearance post-repair.
- Experience with buffing techniques to achieve high-gloss finishes on painted surfaces.
- Knowledge of auto glass replacement processes is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols when using power tools and handling materials.
