Summary Responsible for the sales, service, and administrative activities and relationship management to prospective and existing accounts. Customarily and regularly engaged in outside sales. Description Location: Columbia, SC Percival Rd. (Hybrid, Remote NC, SC) What You'll Do: Responsible for renewal and management of existing accounts. Maintains strong service relationships with clients and agents. Researches/compiles presentations and sales materials as needed. Coordinates client and agent input into renewal process. Obtains client signoff on administrative service agreements. Responsible for renewal reporting. Gathers and analyzes data from client and/or agent to compile, approve and deliver marketing packages. Manages related communications relating to existing account renewals. Provides ongoing account management. Responsible for development of new account sales. May work with marketing area to execute marketing strategy for new business in assigned territory/relationship network. Compiles, approves and delivers presentations and presents proposal packages for new groups. Obtains client signoff on administrative service agreements. Required Education: Bachelor's degree - any major. Required Work Experience: Seven years program management, customer service, finance, technology-related industry and/or healthcare insurance. 2 of the 7 years must have been in sales and marketing role in one or more of the areas listed. Required Training: Department of Insurance Licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire in state employed. Required Skills and Abilities: Client management success Client management principles and techniques Experience with strategy development and execution Financial and plan utilization critical/analytical thinking skills balanced with sound judgement. Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize effectively. Ability to lead a team in a matrix reporting environment. Effective individual and group presentation skills (both virtual and in-person). Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PPT (extensive experience), MS Teams, Outlook, and Word. Work Environment: Office/hybrid environment. Up to 25% travel in-State internally and externally (mostly day and rare overnight travel). Work may involve periods of remaining in a stationary position and transportation of meeting materials.
