Come join our team at The Smokehouse--located inside the RV Park at Ouray Riverside Resort! We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Servers for Summer 2026! The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. Servers with bartending experience are especially desirable, but we are willing to train exceptional candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to our customer recipes.
- Take drink and food orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate point of sale terminals accurately, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and front of the house areas, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and turning tables for the next customers.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. We desire professionalism, friendly smiles and a desire to give guests a memorable experience.
- Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with restaurant based point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
