Envelope Pressman

Primary Purpose:

Perform duties to adjust, operate, setup and troubleshoot press equipment in Department 131 (Special Mailing).

Job Description:

• Setup, operate, troubleshoot and conduct quality checks for: 
  1. Cutting Equipment
  2. Folding Equipment
  3. Printing Equipment
  4. Stitching Equipment
  5. Plate Making Equipment
• Perform daily preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain 5S and a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as described by Supervisor.
• Ability to stand 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work independent and as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime or any shift as required.
• Ability to work with a computer and automated systems.
• Ability to work with solvents, oil, grease, ink and cleaning chemicals.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Work efficiently and diligently without direct supervision.
• Successful candidates are expected to comply with the general attendance policies.
• Successful candidates are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures.

 Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, or 15 years consecutive work history within the printing industry
