Description
Ou Saviour Catholic School is seeking substitute teachers. The substitute teacher performs the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. A person in this position works on an as-needed basis. The substitute teacher agrees to abide by the educational policies and procedures of the Diocese of Orlando and the Office of Catholic Schools as well as comply with the educational policies and procedures of the local school. The substitute teacher cooperates with staff in providing an educational environment that promotes the ministry of Catholic education.
Requirements
- Substitute teachers need a minimum of 60 college credits/AA degree.
- Completes Safe Environment training and a full background check successfully.
- Creates a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Maintains a safe and orderly environment.
- Dresses appropriately and modestly to maintain a professional image.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect all students.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect and maintain equipment, materials, and facilities.
