Responsibilities
- Lead weekly worship services by playing the church’s organ or piano, ensuring a seamless flow of music that enhances the spiritual atmosphere.
- Select and prepare appropriate musical repertoire for services, special events, and seasonal celebrations.
- Accompany church choir at weekly rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with pastors and worship team members to plan engaging worship experiences that resonate with the congregation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to choir members, musicians, and volunteers to develop their musical talents and deepen their understanding of worship.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all age groups and skill levels.
- Communicate effectively with church staff and congregation members to coordinate schedules, service plans, and special programs.
- Support teaching efforts related to music education within the church community, promoting growth in musical skills and spiritual understanding.
