Church Organist/Worship Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Church Organist/Worship Leader to inspire and lead our congregation in meaningful worship experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead weekly worship services by playing the church’s organ or piano, ensuring a seamless flow of music that enhances the spiritual atmosphere.
• Select and prepare appropriate musical repertoire for services, special events, and seasonal celebrations.
• Accompany church choir at weekly rehearsals and performances
• Collaborate with pastors and worship team members to plan engaging worship experiences that resonate with the congregation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to choir members, musicians, and volunteers to develop their musical talents and deepen their understanding of worship.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all age groups and skill levels.
• Communicate effectively with church staff and congregation members to coordinate schedules, service plans, and special programs.
• Support teaching efforts related to music education within the church community, promoting growth in musical skills and spiritual understanding.

Skills

• Proven experience in playing the organ or piano in a church or similar setting, demonstrating musical proficiency and versatility.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire others through music and worship.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, and congregation members.
