Responsibilities
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, educational games, and youth group activities
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions
- Assist children with homework, tutoring, or learning activities to support their academic growth
- Implement first aid protocols and respond promptly to any injuries or emergencies using CPR and AED procedures when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to develop age-appropriate programs that foster childhood development and social skills
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages creativity, outdoor exploration, and physical activity
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Must be available 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
- Must be dependable, responsible, and patient
- Experience working with children is helpful but not required
- Ability to follow directions and work well with students and staff
- Bachelor's Degree in Education-related field preferred
- Associates Degree in Education-related field preferred
