Responsibilities
- Supervise daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that promotes growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
- Provide direct child supervision
- Communicate regularly with parents, staff and daycare board
- Maintain compliance with licensure regulations
- Lead staff meetings, coordinate training sessions to fulfill required education components
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers.
- Certification in first aid and pediatric CPR
- Strong background in early childhood and child development
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
- Classroom management
- Knowledge of daycare center operations, daycare experience, and hands-on caregiving skills
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect
