Senior Hardware Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own lifecycle of PCBAs for ONE's BMS products, from concept to post-launch
• Optimize electrical designs for performance, cost, manufacturability, testability 
• Create and own functional specifications for BMS electrical components and assemblies
• Define and write detailed BMS hardware test plans; analyze test data, write detailed test reports, and present results and recommendations to engineering management
• Lead physical testing on prototypes
• Design circuits in Altium, define floor planning and lead review of PCB layouts
• Support ongoing/continuous product and process improvement
• Own basic testing and analysis; support advanced testing and analysis
• Identify and solve root causes for test failures and production problems
• Optimize designs via analytical, numerical, and/or empirical assessments
• Any additional duties as assigned
