What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute School Nurse position at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Grammar School?
Responsibilities:
● Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including first aid, chronic condition
management, and emergency response.
● Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate health records in compliance
with MA Department of Public Health regulations.
● Monitor student health, identify communicable diseases, and manage health screenings
(vision, hearing, BMI, etc.).
● Collaborate with school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers regarding
student health concerns.
● Promote a healthy school environment through education and by enforcing state and
local health regulations.
● Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with FERPA, HIPAA,
and MA health guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
License/Certification:
- Massachusetts RN license (Preferred)
