What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Supervisor and Clinical Specialist position at Our Lady of Peace?
The individual in this role is a professional Registered Nurse responsible for aspects of
the quality improvement activities and CNA orientation and ongoing education. This role
will also entail monitoring, implementation and evaluation of programs to meet
regulatory requirements and standards of practice as well as the mission of Our Lady of
Peace. It will entail being the supervisor of CNAs, including training, development, and
direct supervision of patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
? Supervise and participate in the scheduling of CNAs. Hire, evaluate and
maintain staffing to meet the needs of the patients.
? Ensure the quality and safe delivery of hospice and home health care services
provided throughout the organization.
? Assists with the development, and organization of policies and procedures.
? Shares in the responsibility to ensure processes to monitor and evaluate safety,
risk management, and infection control programs.
? Coordinates, educates, and implements monitoring activities for safety, risk
management, and infection control.
? Collaborates with nursing supervisors to provide processes to promote and
ensure CNA orientation, competency, and in-service education program.
? Acts as a clinical resource to staff.
? Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
