About the Position
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services – Residential Hospice, a registered nurse, assists
with the operational and clinical oversight of the Medicare-certified Residential Hospice facility.
This position provides direction to the interdisciplinary group (IDG)—including nurses, social
workers, chaplains, and certified nursing assistants to deliver exceptional, compassionate, and
patient-centered end-of-life care.
The role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and evaluating clinical policies, quality
improvement initiatives, and educational programs that advance the organization's mission
while maintaining strict adherence to Medicare Conditions of Participation and regulatory
standards. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Clinical Services supports team development,
manages resource utilization, and facilitates admissions and community collaboration to
champion a culture of clinical excellence and compassionate hospice care.
